May 2026 (later entry also possible) in the Festival and Cultural Office division with the Heidenheim Opera Festival and the Cappella Aquileia project orchestra twoInternship position Cultural Management / Festival Organization (m/f/d) .The Heidenheim Opera Festival (www.opernfestspiele.de) is a traditional, internationally oriented classical music festival with the highest artistic standards. The extensive summer festival program focuses on in-house opera productions and symphony concerts as well as the highly attractive venues Rittersaal Schloss Hellenstein ("One of the most beautiful opera-air stages in Europe", Die Welt) and the modern, acoustically top-class Festspielhaus Congress Centrum Heidenheim. Marcus Bosch has been Artistic Director since 2010 and has developed the Opera Festival extremely dynamically: expansion of content and program, doubling of audience numbers and self-financing, cooperation with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno and a series of early operas by Giuseppe Verdi make the Opera Festival one of the most interesting classical music festivals in Germany. In 2011, Marcus Bosch founded the Cappella Aquileia (www.cappella-aquileia.de) as an orchestra and ambassador of the Opera Festival based on the Lucerne model. Since 2006, the Junge Oper Heidenheim has been an important part of the program with an annual opera production for children and families. The opera festival is directed by the city of Heidenheim.The internship is limited to a maximum of 3 months. It can be completed as a mandatory, unpaid internship during your studies or as a first or second internship semester (with remuneration).
