We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the City of Frankfurt, tasked with promoting and fostering art and culture. In addition, we are one of the few multi-genre theaters (opera and drama) and the largest municipal cultural institution for the dramatic arts in Germany. With a high level of professional expertise and in close collaboration with the costume designers, the diverse costumes for our stages are developed annually for approximately 30 new productions in the opera and drama divisions. In this way, our commitment extends beyond the traditional demands of craftsmanship and provides room for creativity and innovation.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assisting performers with dressing and changing, as well as mending all costume pieces for current performances.

  • When necessary, you may also work in the tailoring workshops

  • A unique work atmosphere in a cultural setting

  • A forward-looking work environment within the friendly and creative team of our costume department

  • Performances at employee rates

The position is primarily based in the Opera Dressing Room.
