About Jobwork
Accessibility
Jobwork should be usable for everyone.
This page explains what we do for that — and what we are still working on.
Our goal
The media and entertainment world thrives on diversity — the same must hold for how our platform can be used. Jobwork should work well with a keyboard, with a screen reader, and with impaired vision.
Our reference are the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA).
What we already do
- Semantic structure: Heading hierarchy, landmarks and labelled controls, so screen readers can present pages meaningfully.
- Keyboard support: Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard and show a visible focus.
- Automated checks: Every code change runs through accessibility checks. Detected barriers block the release.
- Responsive design: Pages adapt to screen size and device — and when you enlarge text via your browser, the layout follows.
- Dark and light design: The site follows your device’s display setting.
There is also a page in Easy Language — a simple explanation of what Jobwork is and how it works.
Where we stand today
In August 2026 we systematically audited the platform for barriers and fixed what we found — from missing labels and keyboard traps to image descriptions. Since then, the tooling keeps watch: no change goes live without passing our accessibility checks.
What remains: final fine-tuning of contrast, the logged-in area — which we have not fully audited yet — and an external conformance audit, for example under BITV 2.0. Until then, this statement is an honest self-assessment — not a certified seal.
Found a barrier?
You ran into a problem — something is not readable, not reachable, or does not work with your assistive technology? Write to us: hello@jobwork.com
We will get back to you and take care of it.
As of August 2026. Voluntary self-assessment — not a certified conformance seal.
