Performer (m/f) with pantomime or strong physical acting skills for a social media campaign

For a social media campaign by a well-known manufacturer of robot vacuum cleaners, we are looking for an actor (m/f) to play the role of a professor. He is a serious, nerdy professor in a white lab coat who demonstrates the benefits of the devices in a clean, bright studio setting, using dry humor and a wink—but never coming across as silly.

Important: The film is completely silent. There is no speaking. Everything is conveyed through gestures, facial expressions, body language, and timing. You do not need to be a trained mime. We welcome actors and actresses with expressive physicality as well as trained mimes.

We’ll be shooting six short scenes in one day. The products will be displayed on pedestals, with product shots playing on a screen in the background. Our professor reacts and gestures in response.

• Appearance: intentionally open-ended—we’ll see what comes up

• Skills: Mime, physical comedy, or excellent physical acting; precise gestures; confident timing and eye contact

• Experience: Acting experience, preferably in commercials or film; trained mime preferred
