Orchestra Manager (m/f/d)

You will strengthen our team with the following tasks:

  • Supervising the orchestra during rehearsals and performances and ensuring that the orchestra runs smoothly

  • Setting up, Dismantling and transportation of the orchestral furniture and instruments

  • Orchestra conversion during concerts and performances (also in front of an audience)

  • Instrument transportation in the house and to orchestra guest performances

  • Ensuring the proper condition of the orchestra furniture (care, Maintenance and repair) and the proper storage of instruments

  • Supervision of the sheet music archive

  • Maintenance of attendance lists, audition supervision

Role / Requirements profile

Your profile:

  • Knowledge of instruments and music

  • A high degree of responsibility, flexibility and commitment

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends and public holidays

  • An independent and proactive way of working

  • The ability to work in a team, physical resilience (weights up to approx. 50 kg), technical understanding and manual skills

  • IT skills in common Office applications

  • Driver's license class B, driver's license class C1 is desirable
