Job description
The Landestheater Linz and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz are part of OÖ. Theater und Orchester GmbH (TOG). With approximately 350,000 visitors and more than 800 employees from over 40 countries, the organization is the largest cultural institution in the state of Upper Austria.
For our wardrobe team, we are looking for starting in mid-September 2026 a
WARDROBE ASSISTANT:TO COVER A MATERNITY LEAVE (M/F/D)
PART-TIME 16 TO 30 HOURS PER WEEK
Your responsibilities will include
Providing costume support to the artists during rehearsals and performances
Coordinating the costume sequence during performances
Performing repairs and mending damage
Costume alterations and tailoring for the repertoire
Washing, ironing, and preparing costumes (daily costume preparation)

If you meet the requirements, the gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 2,887.56 (for full-time employment and excluding credit for prior service). Depending on your professional experience, a higher salary is possible.

Role / Requirements profile
What We Expect From You
Ideally, completed vocational training as a dressmaker
Manual dexterity; Experience working with sewing machines, knowledge of working with various textiles, and a willingness to pursue further training
A high level of dedication, a sense of responsibility, and empathy
Flexibility, team spirit, independence, reliability, the ability to improvise, resilience, the ability to handle stress, and quick learning, as well as physical fitness—an asset
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and very good English skills
Willingness to work irregular hours, including work in the evenings, on weekends, and on holidays
