Job description
Hello everyone,
For our HFF special project “Arizona, Arizona”, we’re currently still looking for motivated set runners who’d like to help out on our shoot.
The film tells the story of Rike, a long-haul truck driver nearing retirement who is suddenly confronted with a question she has suppressed her entire life: Who is she when the journey ends?
We’ll be filming from September 2 to 10, 2026, in Munich and the surrounding area. If you’re not available for the entire period, please feel free to get in touch anyway. Helping out on individual shooting days is also a huge help to us.
As a set runner, you’ll primarily support the set production manager and work with us to ensure that everything on set runs as smoothly as possible. Depending on the day of filming, this may include, for example, minor organizational tasks, assisting with location changes, setting up barriers, coordinating the crew and vehicles, or running last-minute errands.
Some prior set experience is great, but not required. What’s much more important to us are reliability, motivation, good organizational skills, and a desire to be part of a film crew. A driver’s license is a plus.
Since this is a no-budget college project, we unfortunately cannot pay a fee. Of course, we’ll provide plenty of food on set. You can expect a dedicated, friendly team of young and professional filmmakers.
If you’d like to join us, just send us a short application with a few sentences about yourself and your availability.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards
Helena
