Leading actor (m/d) as "painter apprentice" for a commercial film

For the production of a scenic anniversary film, we are looking for an expressive and natural actor for the role of an apprentice painter. The character forms the young, modern antithesis to the master painter.

Shooting period: Expected end of April 2026 (1 shooting day)

Shooting location: Ilmenau / Erfurt area (Thuringia)

Application: For the first selection we ask for the following:

• A current portrait photo

• A short introduction video (max. 1 minute)

• A current reference list (filming experience, theater, etc.) with links at best

Age:

• 16-19 years (playing age)

Type:

• Not squeamish. He has to be able to handle the master's harsh tone and respond to it authentically. He's a modern guy, perhaps a little annoyed by the old stories, but quick-witted enough to stand up to the master. He doesn't look like a model, but like a young guy who can tackle things, but prefers to play on his cell phone.

Requirement:

• Natural acting in front of the camera, good sense of timing in dialog scenes (reaction/counterplay).
