Lead role (f/d) as “Battle Rapper Kira” in the student short film “Mainmatch”

In the role of Kira, you’ll play a battle rapper who performs on stage as part of a tag team with DonJuan, and whose story continues backstage, where frustration, attitude, and reflection collide.

We’re looking for an actress with a strong stage presence and an authentic connection to hip-hop and battle rap culture. Kira is loud, direct, provocative, and moves naturally on stage. So you shouldn’t be shy about performing, facing an audience, or dealing with confrontation.

The film is being produced as part of a course at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, so no payment can be provided. However, travel, lodging, and meals will be covered.

The basic requirement is that you not only speak rap, but also perform it convincingly. Ideally, you have rap experience or are able to quickly memorize lyrics and deliver them with flow, timing, and attitude.
