Job description
The new theater in Senftenberg, serving as both a local theater and the Landesbühne Brandenburg Süd, offers a diverse program. Work in the city and for the region is just as central as an extensive program for young audiences. The theater, which has also achieved success beyond the region, employs approximately 100 full-time staff members and presents approximately 400 performances across 4 different venues and guest performance locations.
We are seeking immediately (or later) on a full-time basis for a fixed term until July 31, 2027 a
Event Technician (m/f/d) - Focus on sound
We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented individual who is willing to work flexible hours typical of the theater industry, is assertive, and has strong organizational and communication skills.
Your main responsibilities:
Assisting with ongoing theater operations in the area of event technology (sound), including support during rehearsals and performances
providing event technical support in the area of sound for all venues
Providing event technical support in the area of sound for daytime events and concert productions
The employment relationship is governed by the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector (TVöD - VKA).

Role / Requirements profile
Your Profile:
Completed training as an event technician with a focus on sound engineering or several years of relevant professional experience
Expertise in electrical and electronic engineering
In-depth knowledge of operating and programming digital mixing consoles
Knowledge and experience in mixing and recording musical productions (rhythmic understanding and musical knowledge desirable)
Knowledge of PA sound reinforcement, in-ear monitoring, and wireless technology
Prior experience with Microsoft and Apple desirable
Experience in supporting rehearsals and performances in a theater setting desirable
Class B driver’s license or higher preferred
Willingness to drive a company vehicle (car, van, minibus) or, if necessary, a rental car.
Good English skills desirable
Interest in video production desirable
