Job description
The new stage Senftenberg offers a varied program as a playhouse and Landesbühne Brandenburg Süd. The work in the town and for the region is just as central as an extensive program for a young audience. The stage, which is also successful beyond the region, offers around 400 performances in 4 different venues and the guest venues with around 100 permanent employees.
We are looking for as of now (or later) full-time limited until 31.07.2027 a
Event technician (m/f/d) - focus on sound
We expect an enthusiastic and team-oriented personality with a willingness to work flexible hours as is usual in the theater, assertiveness, strengths in organization and communication.
Your main tasks:
Working in the ongoing theater operations in the area of event technology sound including rehearsal and performance support
The technical event support in the area of sound for all venues
The technical event support in the area of sound for day events and concert productions
The employment relationship is based on the provisions of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD - VKA).

Role / Requirements profile
Your profile:
Completed training as an event technician with a focus on sound engineering or several years of relevant professional experience
Electrical and electrotechnical expertise
In-depth knowledge of operating and programming digital mixing consoles
Knowledge and experience in mixing and recording musical productions (rhythmic understanding and musical knowledge desirable)
Knowledge of PA, in-ear monitoring and wireless technology
Previous knowledge of Microsoft and Apple desirable
Experience in the supervision of rehearsals and performances in theater operations desirable
Driver's license min. Class B driving license desirable
Willingness to drive a company car (car, van, minibus) or possibly a rental car as required, especially within the guest performance company during working hours.
Good knowledge of English desirable
Interest in video production desirable
