Job description
We are looking to fill the position of a part-time (29.25 hours/week) lighting technician or event technician (m/f/d)
in our lighting department as soon as possible. The position is initially limited to 1 year.
The Deutsches Theater Göttingen is a theater that stages around 25 new productions per season with over 180 employees, including 26 permanent actors. It offers a diverse repertoire in classical, modern and musical theater as well as children's and youth theater in three venues.
Your tasks:
Technical operation and maintenance of the lighting systems and equipment
Lighting the performances and final rehearsals
Production-related production work in the electrical area
Lighting support for rehearsals and performances
Small repairs and maintenance work on all of the theater's electrical systems
Installation and dismantling of the spotlights and lighting equipment

Role / Requirements profile
Your profile:
Completed training in an electronic profession or as an event technician

Basic knowledge of lighting and electronics as well as manual skills
Reliability and team spirit
Physical resilience and no difficulties working on ladders and at great heights
Interest and enjoyment of theater operations
Willingness to work flexible hours according to schedule, work is also available at weekends and on public holidays
