Media Technician with a focus on video technology (f/m/d)

The renowned Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna is one of the leading spoken theaters in the German-speaking world.
In the two venues Theater in der Josefstadt and Kammerspiele der Josefstadt, around 14 new productions are developed each season and around 550 performances are played in the repertoire.

YOUR TASK AREA

• Supervision of media technology during rehearsals and performances and all associated venues and rehearsal stages.

• Independent work and active participation in the development process of a theater production.

• Maintenance of the media technology equipment.

• Participation in and management of guest performances.

We offer you
depending on qualifications and experience, a monthly gross minimum salary of currently €3,200 under the collective agreement with the willingness to overpay. Collaboration with well-known national and international artists and an exciting and varied job.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Professional training in the field of media technology and production with a focus on video technology

• Interested in working in an artistic team

• Creativity, Flexibility and sensitivity in dealing with artists

• Independent, structured, communicative and responsible work

• The ability to work in a team, as well as enjoyment and interest in the cultural and event business

• Experience in the event business in general, especially in the field of video technology

• Knowledge and work experience in dealing with media server systems desired

• Experience in dealing with live camera systems and live video editing

• Basic knowledge of signal and network technology

• Willingness to work overtime and irregular hours, such as weekend and evening shifts

• Knowledge of English and/or other foreign languages an advantage
