Actress (w/d) for a TV commercial in the "Vox Pop" format

For an 89-second TV and online commercial in the “vox pop” format, we’re looking for an actress to play the role of a passerby who is approached by a reporter in a Munich pedestrian zone. It’s a small speaking role with just one line. The host asks several passersby the same simple, everyday question—and none of them really know the answer. Carina is one of them: She casually shrugs her shoulders and makes it clear that she’s never really thought about it before. A brief but important moment that shows many people feel the same way. The client is a German online pharmacy, and the ad promotes a digital service related to e-prescriptions.

THE ROLE

Carina is pragmatic, down-to-earth, and going about her daily life. She takes the question in stride, shrugs her shoulders, and gives a brief, honest answer—without seeming embarrassed, but rather with a twinkle in her eye. The role is brief: she has one line of about 10 words. This makes it all the more important that she comes across as believable and likable in just a few seconds, and that her gesture (showing her health insurance card, “they’ll take care of it”) seems natural.
