For your application, please record a short self-tape featuring the following scenes.

1. Introduction

Briefly introduce yourself in English, showing:

• Front view

• Hands

• Smile

2. Acting – Lead Woman

Imagine you’ve had a long, exhausting day and really just want some peace and quiet. Instead, you’re constantly confronted with different opinions and comments.

Play out the situation with subtle, dry humor. Natural reactions, subtle facial expressions, and expressive body language are especially important.

Possible reactions:

• Annoyed or tired glances in different directions

• A quiet, exhausted sigh

• A brief, dry look full of despair, almost directly at the camera

• A slightly guilty or questioning facial expression

• A resigned blink and a weary shrug

• Deliberately ignoring the comments

• To finish: You take a bite of a delicious snack and visibly enjoy the moment

3. Acting – Different Characters

Act out the following lines, each with a different personality, mood, and intonation. Feel free to exaggerate a bit, but with natural, dry humor.

• Judgy: “Eating after 6 p.m.? Seriously?”

• Coach: “Think about your body, babe.”

• Defensive: “But I just got back from the gym!”

• Anxious: “Wait… how much sugar is in this?”

• Worrier: “Is organic actually better?”

Your own improvisations are also welcome!
