2 Stage Managers (m/f/d) for the "Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt"

Fixed engagement from August 2026 or January 2027 for at least 2-3 seasons - after a 6-month trial period, full-time, collective agreement NV Bühne

The Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt: regional stage on the German-Polish border One-part theater with a permanent ensemble (musical/acting) regular bilingual productions (German/Polish) three fixed indoor stages and an open-air stage with a total of almost 2.000 seats in addition: cultural center/city hall operation (concerts, fairs, events, shows) close cooperation with Bürgerbühne Schwedt e.V.

Your tasks

As a flexible stage manager (m/f/d), you are the coordinating all-rounder behind the scenes and take on the responsible tasks of assistant director, stage manager and prompter as required, which includes means:

• Supervision of 4 productions per season as assistant director or for the area of stage management/support

• Taking over evening production management

• Conducting Rehearsals in the absence of the director

• In individual cases, organization of special events/occasions to be held in the area of acting

We expect

• the ability to work in a team, flexibility, strong communication skills, enjoyment of structured work, organizational talent, digital interest, a sense of humor and a high level of commitment, a confident command of German, preferably also English, a car driver's license (if possible)

• the willingness to live in the Uckermark:

• in a national park town that doesn't have too many cocktail bars, but is unbeatable when it comes to nature and from which you can reach the Polish neighboring country on foot,

• curiosity about the people in Schwedt and the Uckermark - our audience.
