Remote Newcomer

VFX Artist (m/f/d) for a Sci-Fi Bachelor short film

Closed
Job description

For our science fiction Bachelor graduation film LAST EXIT: Station N.0118, we are currently still looking for a 2D/3D arist who wants to bring the film to life with us.

Logline:
In a dystopian world where brothers Ben and Alec are fighting for survival, Ben discovers that he is immune to the deadly virus - with which Alec has been infected. But the operation for the antidote is life-threatening.

Ben must decide: His life or that of his brother and possibly the lives of all the people on station N.0118

As this is a student project, we unfortunately cannot pay a fee.

What needs to be done:
Our goal is to make the world more authentic by expanding and improving the set design with VFX.
- This means adding more posters or holograms/projections to the bare walls
- There's a gunshot in a fight scene
- Some rooms look a bit empty, again we'd like to help with composition
- We're telling a dirty world that humanity has left behind full of trash. We also want to reinforce this

Film length: 20 - 23min

It's a fascinating project that over 25 people have worked on and we want to pull out all the stops to get the absolute maximum out of the project! We would love to hear from you ^^

We would like to submit the film to the first festivals from April. Accordingly, the deadline would be the end of March. ^^ We are already editing.
