The Theater Oberhausen, with its three venues and around 135 employees, sees itself as an open house of contemporaneity: in addition to the evening program, which combines great stories with a political stance in an emotional contemporary theater, the Open House division acts as a mediation and networking center.
With the Junges Theater and the Urban Arts focus, which integrates urban arts productions into the repertoire, the Stadttheater sees itself as interdisciplinary and diverse in its aesthetic forms.
We offer a versatile working environment in a highly motivated team with individual creative freedom for employees. Theater Oberhausen continuously works on a culture that is characterized by mutual respect, appreciation and equal opportunities.
