Stage Manager / Event Technician (m/f/d) for the “Landestheater Schwaben”

The Landestheater Schwaben, located in the center of Memmingen, sees itself as a theater for the entire Swabia region. With its 15-member ensemble, approximately 60 additional staff members, and numerous guest artists, the theater produces 15 original productions each season, comprising about 200 performances at four venues in Memmingen (Main Stage, Studio, Foyer Stage, and Young Theater), as well as for stages at over 40 regular guest performance venues in Swabia and beyond.

Responsible for the technical implementation and cross-departmental coordination of rehearsals and performances at the Landestheater’s venues as well as for guest performances at host venues.
You will serve as a sub-process manager (m/f/d) for the sub-processes “Rehearsals on the Rehearsal Stage,” “Stage Rehearsals,” and “Repertoire Operations” within the production process.
Close collaboration with the technical management team, the set construction, set design, and directing teams, as well as with other technical and artistic departments, is expected.

The position requires working independently in a multi-shift schedule, including Sundays and holidays.

Your Qualifications:

• A successfully completed master craftsman (m/f/d) certification in event technology, specializing in stage/studio, or equivalent

• Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility, as well as lead others
  Coordinative skills, the ability to think across departments, organizational skills, the ability to work well in a team, commitment, and flexibility

• Comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety
  Computer skills (CAD, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office)
  Desirable: Professional experience in theater operations

• Class B driver’s license (formerly Class 3), Class C, CE, and C1 (formerly driver’s license class 2)

• Physical stamina

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
