Job description
We are producing four short promotional videos (25 to 30 seconds each) for a well-known international automotive brand (name to be disclosed upon contract signing) featuring the accessory lineup for a new electric SUV.
The videos contain no dialogue. They depict everyday situations involving the car: loading luggage, opening the roof box, attaching a bike rack, getting in, and driving off. The story is told through rhythm, editing, music, and many close-ups, not through dialogue.
Production: FORMAT67, Mainz. The director and cinematographer employ a fashion-forward, urban visual style.
Usage: all media except TV commercials, worldwide, 7 years. Buyouts are included in the fee.
Fee: €2,100 for 1 day of shooting, including all buyouts. A flat rate that truly covers everything.
Included are:
The shoot day itself
The fitting on the evening before the shoot (approx. 1 hour)
All buyouts: 7-year term from initial release, worldwide, all media excluding TV commercials
All incidental expenses: Travel to and from the location, train fare, gas, parking, taxi fare, any necessary overnight stay, and meals away from the set
We have deliberately opted for a flat rate instead of billing expenses individually. For you, this means: no collecting receipts, no cost estimates, and no waiting for reimbursement. You’ll know exactly in advance how much you’ll receive.
What this means in practice: If you live near the filming location, you won’t need a hotel and will have minimal travel costs, so you’ll keep almost all of the €2,100. If you’re coming from farther away, you decide for yourself whether the travel and lodging are worth it for you. We don’t dictate anything to you, but we’ll be upfront about it in advance.
Regarding this role in particular: The shoot runs late into the night. You’ll therefore most likely need two nights’ hotel stay—one before the shoot and one during the night shoot—and you’ll pay for them yourself from the flat fee. That’s exactly why the fee for this role is €100 higher than for the other two roles. Please do a quick calculation beforehand to see if it works out for you.
Payment by invoice, due within 14 days. Please apply only if you can issue an invoice.
Please submit the following with your application:
A recent portrait photo, without makeup and unfiltered.
A recent full-body photo.
Audition video (e-casting / self-tape), required. Max. 60 seconds, portrait orientation: state your name, age, and city of residence directly to the camera. Followed by a silent sequence involving an everyday object: slinging a bag over your shoulder, zipping up a backpack, pushing a bicycle. We’re interested in the movement, not the dialogue. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications without a video.
Height, clothing size, and shoe size.
Confirmation of availability for the entire time frame, including the brief fitting the evening before: October 4–7, 2026 (Sunday through Wednesday, including the fitting).
Confirmation that you can issue an invoice.
Application deadline: September 22, 2026.
For this role, we need you for 1 day of filming, which includes an evening and a night session. Please keep October 4–7, 2026 (Sunday through Wednesday, including the fitting) free: Your shooting day is tentatively scheduled for October 6, with the fitting taking place the evening before—so, at the earliest, on Sunday evening. If the shoot is rescheduled, one of the alternative dates within this window will apply.
The fitting will take place the evening before the shoot and will last about 1 hour. This time is already factored into your fee.
Clothing, shoes, and accessories will be provided. We’d also be happy to use an outfit of your own for the shoot—our stylist will contact you about this. If an outfit you bring is actually used in the shoot, we’ll pay an additional flat fee of €100. The arrangement is handled through our stylist.
You’re responsible for organizing your own travel and all related arrangements. This may sound strict at first, but there’s a good reason for it: the fee is a flat rate that already includes these costs. You don’t have to submit any expense reports, collect receipts, or wait for anything.
One thing we want to mention up front: Since this shoot will go late into the night, you’ll most likely need two nights’ hotel accommodations—one before the shoot and one during the night of the shoot. You’ll have to pay for those yourself out of the flat fee. That’s exactly why the fee for this role is slightly higher than for the other two.
Please do a quick calculation for yourself beforehand before you go to the trouble of applying. We’d rather you know this now than later.
A small, well-coordinated team awaits you on set. We work calmly and allow plenty of time.
Role / Requirements profile

Requirements:
Type: SStrong individuality, fashion-conscious appearance, contemporary colors. Not a “model look,” but rather poise and charisma.
Performance: Restrained and precise. The person is part of the composition; the car takes center stage. No dialogue.
Special Requirements: Precise, repeatable hand movements in close-ups: doors, trunk, door sills, loading sequences. Willingness to work evening and night shoots.
Language: German or English; the films have no dialogue
Styling: will be provided in full; personal clothing is not required
No tattoos on the face or hands (close-ups of hands)
Billing: Must be able to issue an invoice (as a self-employed individual, small business owner, or through an agency)
