Child actors (m/f/d) for a commercial

We are looking for girls and boys between the ages of 9 and 12 who would enjoy shooting a commercial.

If you are brave enough to stand in front of a camera and act out a few scenes, we would be delighted to receive your application in the form of a short video.

You are welcome to simply film the application video with your mobile phone

(or even better, have your father, mother, brother, sister or friends film it).

It is very important:

Please record the video at your home!

(we've already had a case where applicants recorded videos in a store and that caused a bit of trouble.)

We're perfectly happy if you film the application at home!

That's easier for you and we're only interested in seeing how you play and how you solve the task.

The trappings don't matter now!

 Videos should be a maximum of 3 minutes long!

 Please add the child's name to the files so that they can be assigned more easily and nothing gets lost. So no numbers or complicated titles. Just use the name as the file name.

CASTING description

1. Short personal introduction

Please say into the camera or mobile phone into your cell phone:

-          your name,

-          Your age

-          And your hobbies

-           previous experience in front of the camera (if any)

Please speak everything once into the camera so that we can see your face close.

Then please do a second run-through where we see you completely (from head to toe).

(you can simply speak the same text again)

2. Please play the following scenes afterwards:

Imagine you are in a toy store.

Unusual things happen in the toy store.

(later on we will animate these magical things, so we will add them after the shoot - that's why you have to imagine them while playing).

What you play: 

-           Scene 1: You walk around between the shelves and look around.

-           Then you take a package/box from the shelf and open it. Inside the box is something really cool, e.g. a bright light that only you can see. But we want to see your reaction and your facial expression when this happens.

-          Scene 2: You are standing there normally. Suddenly, something magical appears above you. You look up and are delighted.

-           Scene 3: You move through the store like a robot.

-           Scene 4: Something swirls around right in front of you (imagine a small butterfly or something similar) you observe it and start to smile.

Important: Please only speak during the introduction at the beginning!

All other scenes - the play scenes - are completely without speaking!

The feelings - e.g. your astonishment or your joy - should only be told through your face (facial expressions), your gestures and body language.
