The project:
SCREENMAXING (AT) is a short concept thriller. In a society where everyone is fighting for attention, a young inconspicuous woman wants to win the eyes and ears of the masses. Lisa creates videos on social media but doesn't get noticed, no matter how much effort she puts in. She gets to the bottom of the matter, reads attention studies and informs herself about human psychology. But as she searches for information to make her voice louder, she gets lost in the attention of others and ultimately loses herself.
We:
are indieStudios, a department of the Research Association for Electronic Media. We are an association at the Ilmenau University of Technology. Our team consists of 15+ people, including veterans with film experience as well as new students. Our goals: To create art to be proud of and to learn from filmmaking. For this reason, we also have a film technique that can be shown.

SIMON (18M):
Daytime role, 1 script page playing part
She is close to the protagonist Lisa. Can confide everything to each other without the air between them getting weird. Maintains a non-chalant facade, but starts to sweat when questioned. Only wants the best for the protagonist and therefore doesn't have a neutral view.
BIBLIOTHEKAR/IN (30+, W/M/D)
Daily role, 1 script page game share
Hates his/her job. Constantly on his/her cell phone. Is slow at work, but gets the tasks done. Started a job at the library because he/she loves reading books. But quickly realizes that as a librarian you don't read too much and therefore plays solitaire on his/her cell phone.
SOME WOMAN (20W):
Daily scroll, 0.5 script page game share
Some woman sees the protagonist outside the library, drenched in sweat and beating herself. Cautiously, the woman asks if everything is alright with her. She gets no meaningful answer. Some woman falls into a slight panic herself, she has never experienced a situation like this before. She summons up all her courage and confronts the protagonist once more. But she disappears and some woman is left alone in front of the library, frightened and confused.
