Hannah comes from a humble, financially strained background and works as a housekeeper at Mr. Jansen’s home. She’s glad to have a job that pays her bills, but everyday life at the mansion takes a toll on her. Hannah has learned to keep a low profile. She keeps her head down, does her work, and silently endures the mistreatment from her boss. She knows exactly where she stands in the hierarchy and, on the surface, comes across as compliant, quiet, and harmless.
Emotionally, however, things are different inside. With every small humiliation, a silent rage grows inside her, which she hides. Hannah is fully aware of the injustices she faces at every moment. She is neither naive nor helpless; she is essentially just waiting for an opportunity to break free from this daily routine. When the opportunity arises, she seizes it without hesitation.
