Job description

Synopsis: A sweltering summer day in the life of ten-year-old Noah, who lives in a country house with his mother and his older brother. For Noah, his brother is his most important role model. But his brother has a strained relationship with their mother, and the two argue fiercely. Noah navigates this tense situation while learning about himself and what it means to grow up. A thunderstorm is expected that evening.

Filming is divided into exterior and interior scenes. The exterior scenes are scheduled to take place in early September in the Ortenau region (approx. 3 days). The interior scenes are planned for mid-October, also in this region.

Role / Requirements profile

In this short film, we experience the brother’s conflict with his mother through Noah’s eyes. For Noah, his brother has a palpable presence, serves as a role model, and is at the same time a mystery.

For this role, we’re looking for someone around 16 years old, with dark hair, who lives in the Freiburg, Karlsruhe, or Offenburg area.

The film has very little dialogue; the performance relies heavily on body language.

We welcome all inquiries :)
