VOICE-OVER ARTIST WANTED FOR SHORT FILM – GERMAN & ENGLISH

For my master’s thesis film at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, *ÜBER_GEWICHT*, I am currently looking for a male voice for the final voice-over version of the film—ideally in both German and English, or alternatively, separate voice actors for each language.

The film is a visually abstract drama about male body image, self-perception, and the pressure of shifting beauty ideals.

The voice-over accompanies the film as a very personal address to one’s own body—emotional, but not overdramatic. Clear articulation and the ability to shift between vulnerability, toughness, and reconciliation are also important.

The film itself has already been shot and is currently in post-production. The performance of our lead actor will, of course, remain entirely intact. For the final audio mix, we simply want to refine the voice-over track once more under studio conditions and also produce an English version.

Approximate age of the voice: late 20s to late 30s. Remote recording is generally possible, but professional or very high-quality recording is a requirement.

For my final film at the University of Salzburg, OVER_WEIGHT, I’m currently looking for a male voice for the final voice-over version of the film—ideally someone who can record in both German and English, although separate voice actors for each language are also absolutely possible.

The film is a visually abstract drama about male body image, self-perception, and the pressure created by constantly changing beauty standards.

The voice-over is written as a deeply personal address to one’s own body—emotional without becoming overly dramatic. Clear articulation is important, as is the ability to shift between vulnerability, harshness, and reconciliation.

The film has already been shot and is currently in the final editing stage. The performance of our lead actor will, of course, remain completely intact. For the final sound version, we simply want to record the voice-over separately under controlled conditions and also create a dedicated English-language version.

Approximate vocal age: late 20s to late 30s.

Remote recording is possible, provided professional or very high-quality recording conditions are available.
