STAGE MASTER (m/f/d) to prepare for taking over as Technical Director

The Schlosstheater Celle is looking for a full-time stage manager (m/f/d) to join a creative and committed team of around 130 colleagues from the 2026/2027 season. Our venues - the historic Schlosstheater, the Studiobühnen and HALLE 19 - offer varied challenges and exciting projects.

Your tasks:

• You will be responsible for event technology in accordance with the NVStättVO, in particular in the Schlosstheater (main venue with machinery) during conversions, rehearsals, events and guest performances.

• You will be responsible for the punctual, quality-conscious and safety-compliant set-up of rehearsals and performances and their smooth running.

• You will assume responsibility for the technical staff deployed.

• You will be actively involved in the artistic and technical realization of stage sets.

• They create risk assessments, plan materials and implement work and fire safety measures.

Your qualification:

• Master of VA technology OR university degree with a professional qualification in theater technology or event technology with at least one year of professional experience in the technical operation of stages OR comparable qualification according to NVStättVO.

• Applications from event technicians in master craftsman training and professional specialists in theater technology can also be considered.

• Enthusiasm for theater work and working with changing production teams.

• You always keep calm, contribute your professional expertise and work in a solution-oriented, responsible and communicative manner.

• You are interested in further qualifications and the prospect of taking on additional responsibility.
