Props Manager (m/f/d) for the “Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt”

We are looking for a prop master (m/f/d) starting September 1, 2026


Pay Grade 6 TVöD + TBZ, 19.5 hours/week
fixed-term contract through February 28, 2027

for the acting department.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assisting with rehearsals

• Assisting with performances as part of a team

• Purchasing materials, food, etc. Manufacturing, repairing, and procuring props

• The workplace is on stage, in the rehearsal hall, workshop, and set design room

• Job area: Workshops (props, costume design, stage painting and sculpture, carpentry, metalwork, etc.)

What you bring to the table:

• Advanced training as a certified prop master or completed vocational training in a skilled trade and/or

• Practical experience in the field of props

• Flexibility

• Artistic sensitivity

• Manual and technical skills

• Quick learner; creativity; initiative; ability to work in a team; Organizational skills

• Computer skills

• Willingness to work shifts as well as on Sundays and holidays

• Class B driver’s license preferred
