Props Manager (m/f/d) for the “Actors” Department at the “Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt”

We are looking for a

prop master (m/f/d) starting October 1, 2026 

Pay Grade 6 TVöD + TBZ, 24.5 hours per week

fixed-term position until August 31, 2027

for the acting department

• Pay according to the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector: Pay Grade 6 TVöD (€2,035.57 to €2,249.26 gross per month, provided the collective bargaining requirements are met and depending on professional experience) plus a substantial theater operations allowance (€508.89 gross per month)

Your Responsibilities:

• Procurement, production, and repair of props

• Supporting rehearsals 

• Supporting performances as part of a team

• Purchasing materials, food, etc.

• The workplace is on stage, the rehearsal stage, workshop, and set design room

What You Bring to the Table:

• Advanced training as a certified prop master or completed vocational training in a skilled trade and/or

• Practical experience in the field of props
