Professional Gaming Host (f/d) for "Gamescom"

For a gaming event as part of Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, we are looking for a professional, outgoing, and gaming-savvy host for the period from August 25 to 30, 2026.

Responsibilities include hosting various stage and booth programs, introducing and explaining games and relevant game content, and actively and engagingly interacting with visitors and players.

Depending on the program, the role may also include conducting interviews, hosting gaming challenges, leading mini-games, running contests, or facilitating other interactive formats.

We are looking for a host who is knowledgeable about video games and gaming culture, has a strong connection to the gaming community, and already has hosting experience in the gaming, esports, Gamescom, or similar entertainment sectors.

A mandatory online briefing will take place before the event. During this briefing, the project, the games, the hosting content, and the planned schedule will be presented in detail. You should prepare the relevant content thoroughly before your assignment.

• Professional hosting experience and confident stage presence

• Experience as a host at gaming, esports, or similar events

• Good knowledge of the gaming world and a genuine interest in video games

• Confident and personable interaction with players and the audience

• Strong improvisational skills and a confident demeanor in live situations

• Experience with trade shows, stage hosting, interviews, or interactive formats is a plus

• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new games, products, and content

• Communicative, open, and energetic personality

• Availability from August 25–30, 2026

• Willingness to participate in an online briefing prior to the event
