Job description
We travel throughout North Rhine-Westphalia, meeting people, companies, and projects that demonstrate how climate protection, innovation, and more sustainable business practices can work in real life.
Sometimes it’s about a surprising invention, sometimes a production process you’d never otherwise get to see—and sometimes an idea that makes you wonder at first: How does that actually work?
And that’s exactly where you come in.
As a host, you’ll be right in the thick of things on location: You’ll ask the questions the community would ask, try things out for yourself, talk to fascinating people, and turn complex topics into short, easy-to-understand, and entertaining social media videos.
It’s not just about reciting scripts. We’re looking for people who can deliver prepared content naturally, react spontaneously, and are eager to bring their own sense of humor and style to the table.
Role / Requirements profile
What you'll be doing with us:
You'll host short Reels and social media videos
You'll travel with us to various filming locations throughout North Rhine-Westphalia.
You’ll have casual and informative conversations with people on location.
You’ll ask curious questions and follow up when needed.
You’ll deliver prepared scripts naturally, without sounding like you’re “reading from a script.”
You’ll react spontaneously to situations on set and contribute your own ideas.
You’ll help us present topics related to climate, the economy, and innovation in a way that’s understandable, relatable, and—gladly—humorous.
What you should bring to the table:
A natural presence on camera.
A clear, lively, and engaging speaking style.
Genuine curiosity about people, ideas, and stories.
Interest in topics such as climate protection, innovation, and sustainable business practices.
A knack for social media, Reels, and good hooks.
A love for trying new things and occasionally improvising on the spot.
Reliability and a willingness to film in North Rhine-Westphalia.
What you don’t need to be:
A climate expert.
What’s much more important to us is that you ask questions, can quickly get up to speed on new topics, and are eager to discover things together with the community.
Experience with hosting, interviews, acting, journalism, or your own social media formats is, of course, great—but not a requirement.
New faces are also expressly welcome.
Compensation is paid per Reel or at a daily rate.
Gender
Male / Female / Non-binary
