Presenter (m/f/d) for a master's thesis research project in the field of "Film Pitch / Performance / Rhetoric"

For my master’s thesis at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (MultiMediaArt M.A.), I am looking for someone with experience in acting, hosting, presenting, or performing on stage who would like to participate in a small research project.

In my thesis, I am investigating the impact of film pitches: What role do presence, voice, gestures, pauses, dramaturgy, and slide design play in determining whether a film project is perceived as convincing, professional, or inspiring?

To this end, a fictional film idea will be presented in several short pitch variations. The content has been prepared; the main focus is on implementing different approaches in a playful and controlled manner.

Location:
Salzburg / FH Salzburg. Residency in or easy access to Salzburg would be ideal.

Important:
The project is unpaid but takes place as part of an artistic-scientific master’s thesis. Upon request, materials or a confirmation of participation can be provided.

We are looking for:
A reliable, charismatic person with a passion for language, impact, and performance. Experience in acting, hosting, presenting, stage work, or similar fields is a plus.

Commitment:
1 short preparation/rehearsal session + three short research meetings (approx. 90 minutes). End of June, by arrangement.
