Musical performer / actor (m/d) for the musical "Das wilde Weib von Birstein"

A professional actor for the male lead role in the musical "Das wilde Weib von Birstein" is being sought for the Birstein Festival 2027.

The Birsteiner Festspiele (organizer Verein wilde Kultur) have been known for years for  high quality musicals.
The actress and director Regina Leitner has written this musical together with the well-known composer Jochen Flach, freely based on a legend from Birstein. She will also direct the production.
The two main roles will be played by professionals and the remaining roles by exceptionally good singers and actors from around Birstein.

Jakob, playing age 35 - 40, seasoned man and hunter

Two worlds. On the one hand, a woman who lives with her children in harmony with nature, and on the other, the village with its deep fear of the unknown. These two worlds collide when the hunter Jakob is injured in the forest and is found and cared for by the "wild woman"; he falls in love with her and her way of life. When he returns to the village, he is a different person. Panic breaks out in the village ...
