Mid-Career Creator (m/f) for Short Business Video Messages

You are a young businesswoman addressing other businesspeople—specifically, the owners of small craft businesses—with a short, personal video message. The topic is succession planning for craft businesses. The videos will be sent exclusively via email and will not be shown publicly.

We’re looking for someone for a long-term collaboration. If it’s a good fit for both sides, there will be regular follow-up shoots and, in the future, potentially larger productions as well.

What you’ll be recording:

• Approx. 8 short videos (approx. 60 seconds each)

• You’ll speak directly into the camera, as if in a personal video message

• You’ll be wearing a blazer and a blouse—simple and understated

• Filmed at your home using a smartphone—no crew, no studio

• We’ll provide you with the script and detailed instructions (framing, lighting, sound) from us

• Total time required: about 1–2 hours

To apply, please send a short video recorded on your phone (about 20 seconds) in which you introduce yourself naturally. It doesn’t have to be perfect—we just want to see how you come across on camera.

The Role: You are a young, professional yet approachable businesswoman in her 30s. Friendly, straightforward, and likable. Someone a master craftsman takes seriously and is happy to write back to.

What We’re Looking For:

• Comes across as open, lively, and warm, so that people trust her immediately

• Presents herself as confident and competent without coming across as aloof

• Professional, but not stiff. Not a salesperson, not a TV host

• Speaks naturally and fluently, in short, simple sentences

• Calm, pleasant voice

This won’t work:

• An audible advertising or voice-over style

• Visibly reading from a script

• Too stiff or too formal, as in a presentation

• Influencer or social media style

Requirements:

• A smartphone with a good camera and a quiet, well-lit room

• Available on short notice (recording within the next two weeks)

• Interest in a long-term collaboration with regular recordings

Non-professional actresses are expressly welcome. It’s more important that it looks authentic than that you have experience.
