We are looking for physically resilient actors and puppeteers (m/f/d) to bring our mascot to life through their performance. Character performers who inspire visitors with their performance, generate attention and interactions with high social media content.
The assignments invite you to expand your own profile in the area of live interaction and improvisation in the role of the mascot and to improve your acting skills.
Your tasks:
Performing the mascot as a walking act in a full-body costume
Creating the character profile of the character
Always appearing friendly and open as a representative of the organizer
Presentation & appearance in video formats, e.g. for social media
Careful & careful handling of our costumes, this also includes small cleaning and care measures

Predictable, fair income over 6 months:
Regular assignments between 16.04. and 11.10.2026 at a unique, relevant major open-air event near Düsseldorf
Approx. 45 daily assignments per performer - corresponds to approx. 1600,- € / month on a fee basis, additional half-day assignments are possible as well as assignments before 16.04.2026 (daily flat rate (8h) with several set times: 220 € I half-day flat rate (4h) with several set times: 140 € each including buyout)
Adequate break times between the set times and drinks
An accompaniment during the set times
Press coverage after the event period
Requirements profile:
Height: 1.78 to 1.85 m, living in the Düsseldorf/Neuss/Cologne area
Normal to athletic figure, short hair or low hair volume (the costume cannot be played with long hair)
Physically fit, resilient with appropriate mobility
Experience in the presentation of characters/mascot performance, theater, acting, puppetry
Talent for improvisation, creativity, situational awareness for the audience and for good social media content
Independent way of working & good knowledge of German
No allergies to dust, pollen or common textile cleaning agents
Willingness to work & availability: The assignments can take place on all 7 days of the week and also in the evening hours, planned are approx. 3 days/week
Age: min. 18 years
