The Staatstheater Mainz GmbH is looking for a
Performer (m/f/d)
preferably full-time
The Staatstheater Mainz is a multi-discipline theater consisting of music theater, drama, concert and contemporary dance. All divisions also develop productions for the children's and youth theater justmainz.
The Staatstheater Mainz has four venues, which are used by all divisions in a broad repertoire. A total of around thirty premieres are produced each season.
There are around 390 permanent employees and almost as many temporary or guest workers at the theater, which also has its own theater catering.
Your future tasks:
Installing/dismantling and setting up the lighting technology for the changing repertoire
Lighting spotlights (conventional/automated)
Piece-related relighting based on existing documentation
Operating follow spotlights
Creating piece-related documentation
Maintenance, Maintenance and testing of our lighting equipment incl. the associated documentation
Installation and special constructions for new productions
Operation and, if necessary Programming of the lighting control panel
Active cooperation in ensuring occupational safety in compliance with the relevant rules

Role / Requirements profile
What you should bring:
Completed vocational training as a specialist in event technology or in a recognized apprenticeship in the electrical or electronic field
Possibly several years of experience in the field of cultural and event technology
Willingness to change jobs in the evening. electronic field
Possibly several years of experience in the lighting sector of cultural and event technology
Willingness to work alternating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Driving license with at least class B
Independent way of working, Sense of responsibility
Technical understanding and manual dexterity
Skills in English
Willingness to participate in further professional training
Willingness to participate in guest performances
