Two worlds collide: Nadim, a young refugee from Aleppo, waits in a makeshift tent for a decision about his future. Just a few meters away, Mrs. Retzke, a widowed pensioner, has been tending her garden for decades - a place of order, rules and retreat. What begins as a tense neighborhood slowly develops into an encounter that challenges both of them: Nadim struggles for acceptance and a new home, while Ms. Retzke learns to question her entrenched boundaries. Between prejudices, misunderstandings and small gestures, a cautious bond is formed - silent proof that even in the narrowest of plots, room for humanity can grow.
