Extra (m/d) as deceased grandfather "Paul" for the student short film "Tschö"

For the graduation film "Tschö" at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, we are looking for a small actor/extra to play the deceased grandfather Paul

This is what the film is about: After Paul's death, his fragmented family gathers at his parents' house to say goodbye - or at least pretend to. Instead of consolation, there are arguments, accusations and a mysterious reference to one of the deceased's last wishes. While everyone tears the house apart in search of an heir, the day gets increasingly out of control: between the clown, the mariachi band and old grudges, a grotesque tragedy unfolds in which everyone learns more about themselves than about the supposed inheritance

Genre: absurd comedy
Shooting period: 08.-11.01.2026 (4 shooting days)

Shooting will take place in Idstein, about an hour's drive from Frankfurt. It would be great if you come from Hesse, but applications from outside Hesse are also welcome.

As this is a student production, which is largely financed by private funds, we unfortunately do not have the possibility to pay a fee. However, we will of course cover travel costs and delicious meals on set. You are also welcome to use material from the film for your showreel.
