Extras (m/f/d) for the student short film "Esther, you need to grow up"
We are a female team of filmmakers, film students and graduates whose films are regularly shown at national and international film festivals and for our independent short film project "ESTHER, YOU NEED TO GROW UP" we are currently looking for extras for several days of shooting in June.
About the project:
"ESTHER, YOU NEED TO GROW UP" is a 5-minute coming-of-age short film that explores the challenges of growing up female
As a young woman growing up in a patriarchal society, Esther is confronted with everyday obstacles that many girls and women know only too well. As she transitions from childhood to young adulthood, Esther must deal with societal expectations and subtle forms of oppression that shape her understanding of femininity in a world that doesn't seem to have been made for her.
We are currently looking for extras for the shoot on the following days:
Thursday, 13.06.2025 - club and film crew scene
People in a club scene -
10 men aged 18-25
Film crew -
5 men in their 30s
Saturday, 14.06.2025 - School scene
10 children aged 7-11
Sunday, 16.06.2025 - A group of friends
2 men & 2 women aged 17-20
3 teenagers (f/m/d) aged 13-15
Monday, 17.06.2025 - Passengers in a bus/ferry
2 men aged 18-20 years
2 men in their 30s
1 man and 1 woman aged 40-60 years
As this is a free, non-commercial project, we are unfortunately unable to pay a fee. But we will of course provide great catering on site with delicious food and a good mood :)
