The FABRIK in Hamburg,
founded in 1971, is the oldest and probably best-known cultural and communication center in Europe and has served as a model for many institutions internationally. During the day, our internet café offers free digital literacy training for children and older people. In the evenings, there is a wide range of cultural, international events, from a stylistically diverse musical concert program to readings, theater performances, markets and discussions on current political issues to dance events and festivals.

Experienced event technician (m/f/d) with a focus on sound technology
for 90 hours / month

Your tasks:
Implementation of technical sound concepts (tech. Rider) in close cooperation with the production team, preparation and technical sound support for our booked productions, set-up and dismantling of the PA/sound system, configuration of radio systems, support with set-up and dismantling of event and stage technology as well as creation and support of personalized monitor mixes on the system console.

Your skills:
Successfully completed training as a sound engineer/event technician or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in live operation and in the use of analog and digital sound technology
Experience in the use of live microphones, Wireless microphones and sound reinforcement technology
Confident language skills in German and English
Responsible, structured and efficient work
