English-speaking actor (m/f/d) as "Rowan" for a student, queer short film
We are looking for actors for our queer coming-of-age drama "to be seen" for our roles Cas, Mona, Rowan and Rikki!
LOGLINE: Between an estranged family life and the intimacy of his first love, a queer young man and his younger sister learn what it means to truly be seen - by each other and by themselves.
SHOOTING TIME: Mid - end of November '25
LOCATION: Rhine-Main area

This project is a student production and therefore unpaid. Catering will be provided on set.

ROWAN is a 25-year-old landscape architecture student and Cas's boyfriend.
Rowan is transgender and although outwardly he is a very confident and outgoing person, he still has some lingering insecurities about his gender identity.
He has a self-soothing tick which is to run his hand over his chest to remind himself he is flat and to feel his top surgery scars.
Fashion plays a big role for Rowan - he works at a second-hand store and his style helps him to feel most like himself.
Rowan is a very supportive, emotionally available and resilient character and is depicted as Cas's rock and shoulder to lean on.
His native language is not German, which is why he and Cas speak English with one another.
Since acts of service is one of his love languages, his goal is to show love and support to his community while also navigating his own personal traumas.
Acting experience is preferred but not required.
Required Language is English.
Transgender Actors are preferred.
