Actors (m/f/d) with accent-free German or an exotic accent for a student film experiment
Casting call for actors
We are looking for a total of three committed actors for a short film at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences.
As this is a student project, we are unfortunately unable to offer a salary, but we will provide you with accommodation and meals during the shoot. In return, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience and expand your portfolio.
What we are looking for:
Actors who are willing to bring a total of three different roles to life in your style.
Experience with theater would be an advantage, as the shoot is very choreography and expression-heavy.
Passion for acting and the desire to be involved in a unique project.
Our goal is to realize a short film of about 10 minutes, which we want to present at international film festivals.
Application process: Please send us your letter of application and also a max. 2-minute video of you performing an excerpt from the script.
It is important to rehearse the choreography before the shoot and for this we need you in person on site at the weekend. The choreography involves simple movements and does not require exceptional agility.

There are different requirements for different roles. You will fit the project if you meet one of the following requirements:
You are male and speak fluent German, but have an exotic accent when speaking.
You are male and speak fluent German without an accent. Preferably you wear glasses.
You are female and speak fluent German without an accent.
IMPORTANT! In this movie, you and two others will play each of the following three roles and add your personal touch.
ALEX 20-30Y.
Description: Alex is a student in his/her mid-twenties. Characterized by his/her open nature, he/she finds it easy to make friends. Many admire Alex for his/her direct, self-confident manner.
However, this can also lead to conflicts.
Relationship: In a relationship with Tony. Friends with Chris since college.
Traits/Character Traits: Spends a lot of time on her cell phone.
Gets defensive quickly in conflicts.
Picky about food. (lactose intolerant)
TONY 20-30yrs.
Description: Tony has been in a relationship with Alex for a long time and they get along great, it's a healthy relationship despite the difficulties that arise.
He/she is characterized by an empathic nature.
He/she is close to people. Is interested in the inner feelings of others. Is an interface of general contact. Holds the group together. Reliable as a person but only in the interpersonal sphere. Due to his/her empathic nature and curiosity about people, it is not uncommon for him/her to spill a secret or two. Unfortunately, she often has to borrow money from friends because she doesn't have many things on her screen. Charming and charismatic through and through.
Relationship: In a relationship with Alex. In a flat share with Chris.
Traits/character traits: Often reveals secrets. Often gets into debt
CHRIS 20-30Y.
Description: Chris lives with Tony and the two are good friends. Unfortunately, there are sometimes arguments in the shared flat because of their different personalities.
In contrast to Tony, Chris is a neat freak and a cleaning fiend.
But in everyday life, Gamma is blessed with a certain relaxed attitude. Which is why she/he is often late.
Relationship: Good friends with Alex. Shares a flat with Tony.
Traits/character traits: Order freak. Unpunctual
