Actor/Actress (m/f/d) to play “It” in the student short film “Once Upon a Time”

For the 4-minute short film "Once Upon a Time" (tragicomedy), we are looking for an actor to play the role of "It."

"Es" is a faceless creature made of gray, tattered fabric, composed of Elisabeth’s unfulfilled “what-ifs.” It accompanies Elisabeth through her past, keeping every missed opportunity before her eyes in a index card box, and in doing so develops an almost tragicomic, childlike, and awkward quirk.

Filming will take place over two days.

This is an unpaid, low-budget short film production (student project/passion project). Meals will be provided during the shoot.

We are looking for someone with strong physical expressiveness, since the face is covered by a costume or mask and the role relies heavily on body language, voice, and timing. A keen sense of tragicomic timing is required. The character is at once awkward, honest, and touching.
