Job description
We are looking for an actor to play the role of “Markus” in our graduation film (approx. 25 min) for RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. It is a historical short film based on a true story.
Our film "Wind from the West" tells the story of Wolfgang, a baker’s apprentice living in the GDR in 1957. He feels politically and professionally stifled and makes the courageous decision to leave his homeland and ride his motorcycle alone across the border to the West to build a new life there. He leaves his family and girlfriend behind. On his journey, he must repeatedly find the courage to keep going.&
Since this is a student production, we unfortunately cannot pay a fee. However, we will of course cover accommodation, travel expenses, and meals on set. We are therefore particularly looking forward to applications from actors in the Rhine-Main area.
More info about the film on Instagram @windauswestenfilm
We look forward to receiving applications with a recent photo, references, and, if available, a showreel.
