Actors (m/f/d) as "Passant:innen" for a short film of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg

For our short film "Free Will", we are looking for small actors of all ages for individual scenes on the street.

The film is being made as part of a student project at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and combines documentary and fictional elements. It focuses on a young man who produces social media content with camera glasses, constantly oscillating between self-staging, observation and authenticity.

The film deals with the question of how strongly our desire to be noticed shapes our behavior today and why this form of content works so well in our society despite or precisely because of its artificiality. We not only want to take a critical look at the topic, but also explain what makes it so effective and fascinating for many people.

We are looking for passers-by who are approached in scenes on the street by our protagonist and content creator for his content of various kinds: from compliments, random gifts and flowers, which he distributes, to provocations.

It is therefore important to appear authentic and to be willing to participate as part of the public setting. No acting experience is necessary, what is important is reliability, openness and the willingness to participate in this creative process
