Actor (m/f) for a permanent position with the “Mittelsächsische Theater und Philharmonie gGmbH”

MiT (Mittelsächsische Theater und Philharmonie gGmbH), under the artistic direction of Sergio Raonic Lukovic, is seeking an actor for its drama ensemble, starting with the 2027/2028 season.

We are a merged multidisciplinary theater company with the historic municipal theaters in the university town of Freiberg and in Döbeln as our main locations, as well as the attractive open-air venue Seebühne Kriebstein. We serve the district of Central Saxony, a region between Chemnitz, Dresden, and Leipzig with a population of approximately 300,000.

Compensation is based on the NV-Bühne collective bargaining agreement under the “Solo” special provision, with pay set at the minimum wage stipulated in the agreement.

Contract start date: beginning with the 2027/2028 season

Auditions are expected to take place in early January 2027.

We are looking for a young actor to join our theater ensemble who also has experience in puppetry. An interest in youth theater productions, as well as in interdisciplinary projects with a musical focus, is desirable.

A completed acting degree from a state-accredited acting school is required.
