For our approx. 10-minute queer short film Cup we are looking for an actor for a short but essential scene.
What's it about?
The story takes place in a fertility clinic and humorously revolves around the topic of sperm donation. In this context, there is a small but important role that decisively drives the plot forward.
Framing conditions:
Shooting location: Hamburg
Shooting period: 2-3 shooting days 25.09.-27.09.
No fee, as student project - but food, set experience and invitation to the premiere are included.
We are looking for:
Openness and desire to participate in a satirical, queer comedy.
Acting experience is an advantage, but not essential.
If you are interested, we would be happy to receive a short introduction and a current photo.
As this is a student production, we are unfortunately unable to offer a fee. However, catering is provided and there is an invitation to the big premiere at Cinemaxx am Dammtor!

Role:
A gentleman (playing age: approx. 30-55 years) is sought who embodies a certain social attitude through his outward appearance (questionable T-shirt prints with a nationalistic undertone). The role is deliberately exaggerated and critical and serves as a contrast to the queer, diverse world of the film.
The character has one pithy sentence that is central to the plot. Even though it is only a small role, its dramaturgical value is very high and it is indispensable.
