Do you feel the same? A visit to the doctor is coming up, the surgeries are busy, the waiting rooms are overcrowded, the bureaucracy surrounding your health sometimes makes you despair? Then we feel the same. For our mockumentary we are looking for you as an actor:in / actor:in.
About us
In our B.A. graduation film (Rhein-Main University of Applied Sciences, Wiesbaden - Media Conception & Production), we offer a respectful, cheerful atmosphere with a professional approach.
TEASER
In a rural doctor's office, the already chaotic everyday life is thrown off balance when a patient with a severed finger appears and suddenly disappears. Influenced by an elderly patient's racist prejudices and dubious internet rumors about organ trafficking, doctor Wolfram hastily suspects a Bulgarian patient of the theft.
While the practice team and new intern Jonas get into absurd situations, the supposed scandal is ultimately revealed to be a misunderstanding: the finger was never stolen.
This satirical comedy is a trenchant tale of everyday racism, jumping to conclusions and the power of half-knowledge - in the midst of normal surgery madness.
