Steadicam operator (m/f/d) for the student graduation film "Shurik"

We are urgently looking for a motivated Steadicam operator for approx. 6 scenes for a bachelor's degree film at SAE Cologne.

Support in the area:
- Shooting direction
- All-round support on set

Title: Shurik

Logline: A young inventor travels back in time to prevent the death of his girlfriend - and discovers that she never loved him, but deliberately manipulated him. Amidst betrayal, violence and time fractures, he searches for the truth - and a way out.

Genre:  Sci-Fi, Thriller,

Format: Short film, approx. 20 minutes

Plot:
ALEX (31), an inventor, is plagued by nightmares about the death of his girlfriend SINA (27). He builds a rudimentary time machine in his improvised laboratory to travel back in time and prevent her death. But once there, he realizes that Sina was never who she pretended to be.
Through flashbacks and time jumps, a complex narrative unfolds: Sina was an undercover agent of an international organization for the monitoring of temporal risks (I.C.A.T.) who was supposed to sabotage Alex's invention. Everything - her closeness, her affection, even her death - was part of a larger plan.
Hurt and disillusioned, Alex ends up in the Nazi era after an escape attempt. There he experiences first-hand how dangerous playing with time is - and what can happen to technology in the wrong hands. Back in the present, he realizes the consequences of his actions and destroys the time machine for good.

Fee: Unfortunately unpaid - but food, a good atmosphere and valuable filming experience are provided!
