Job description
For a comedic film project with a political focus (on Instagram / Youtube) with hand puppets and an actress, we are looking for an actress with power and charisma in her mid-30s
It is about the role of a craftswoman who does repairs in the Bundestag and meets an usher (this role is a hand puppet) during the lunch break, with whom she discusses - quite controversially - political issues.the role models are Waldorf and Statler from the Muppet Show.
We are currently redeveloping the project, so far both characters have been played by hand puppets: https://www.youtube.com/@Bundespuppentag
Now we want to try it with a combination of human and puppet.
Dates will be arranged individually, currently we expect 3-5 shooting days spread over the year, planned duration of the project until the end of 2026, if successful also beyond that.
One shooting day should generate material for various short films, which will then be posted on Insta and Youtube within four to six weeks.
Role / Requirements profile
You can deliver punchlines, are experienced on camera, spontaneous and flexible
You live in the Hamburg area
Your professional schedule allows for one day of shooting in Hamburg every 6-8 weeks. Other longer-term engagements, e.g. in theaters, are not compatible with this project.
In terms of appearance, we are looking for a person with short hair, tomboyish but feminine, a woman who can be trusted to take things into her own hands.
