The Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach gGmbH is the oldest fusion theater in Germany and employs around 500 people. It offers musical theater, ballet and drama as well as the orchestra "Niederrheinische Sinfoniker". Numerous special events, extensive theater and concert education as well as projects to promote young artists round off the wide-ranging theater profile. Every year, around 600 events take place on the stages and venues of our theaters in Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, in the Fabrik Heeder and other external venues in the respective city areas as well as in guest venues.
We are looking for a stage technician (m/f/d)
We are looking for a stage technician in Mönchengladbach as soon as possible
The assignment will basically take place at all venues, but will focus on the venues in Mönchengladbach. The position is initially limited to one year with the option of permanent employment or as a replacement with the option of extension. Remuneration will be in accordance with pay group 6 TVöD VKA (collective agreement for the public sector) and taking into account personal requirements. The average weekly working time is 39 hours.

Your main tasks will include:
The construction, dismantling and conversion of stage sets and set decorations for rehearsals, performances and events
The supervision of rehearsals and performances
The participation in scenic conversions and transformations during performances

What you should bring with you:
Completed technical training, ideally as a locksmith or a comparable qualification
First professional experience in stage technology in a theater is desirable
A careful, independent and pragmatic way of working

Very good physical resilience and ability to work at heights (especially with regard to lifting heavy stage design parts and working at great heights)
A high degree of commitment and a great deal of dedication to the directing teams and artists
